Extension, alteration, and renovation projects

The Old Post Office Llanasa
A listed building in a conservation area that was saved from dereliction by the hard work of the owner. The property had not been lived in for some time and was in need of complete refurbishment. The scheme included a new timber framed conservatory to the rear and the alteration of the internal layout to provide modern family accommodation
Garden Room Extension
An extension to a modern house that was designed to make full use of the southerly aspect and to open up the garden from the house. The extension was designed to complement the materials of the existing house and, as it is situated in a conservation area, to blend in with the locality. Because of the extensive use of glass in this project special attention had to be paid to Part L of the Building Regulations which deal with the conservation of fuel and power and additional insulation was specified to compensate.
